For those of you who have little time but want to gain the maximum in a short period, we offer special combo trips which are a mix of both rafting and trekking giving you the best of all that the Himalayas have to offer. Chandershilla top and Dev Prayag down on the river Ganga is a shortest combo trip we can offer. It can be completed in 6 days and is nice and easy giving you a fare share of both the experiences in a week’s time. This combination involves for the first three days of trekking in which we will cover Sari, Deorital, Chopta and Chandershilla and then get back to Chopta , wherein we will start our rafting expedition by undertaking the downstream from Chopta to Devprayag, where there is a beautiful confluence of the The Alaknanada and The Bhagirathi River. From Devprayag we raft further down to Kodiyala , resting finally at Rishikesh which will end this Trek cum raft trip.


Day Itinerary:-

  • Day 1

    DRIVE RISHIKESH TO SARI AND TREK TO DEORIA TAL

  • (7 – 8 hrs. Drive, 1hr. Trek)

  • Morning, we drive from Rishikesh to Sari Village approx. 7-8 hours. Breakfast enroute. The driving through the valleys of river Ganga, Alaknanda and Mandakani shows a beautiful landscape of the foothills of the Great Himalays. Enroute we stop at Deoprayag which is the confluence point of two different rivers named Bhagirathi and Alaknanada, which then flows down as the Ganga. Once we reach to Sari, we trek for a short while to the Himalayan Lake, Deoria Tal. The trek is approximately 45 min. to 1 hour, giving a good view of the beautiful Sari Village. On arriving in Deoria Tal, explore the area and be ready with your cameras to capture the beautiful sunset having its orange rays in the Great Himalayas. Later dinner and overnight in tents.

  • Day 2

    TREK FROM DEORIA TAL TO CHOPTA

  • (5-6 hrs 2900m)

  • Wake up early to catch the first rays of the sun on the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas. After breakfast, we trek to Chopta through dense forest and alpine meadows, with packed lunch . Upon arrival at Chopta set out your tents for overnight stay. In the evening explore the magnificent view of the Himalayas.

  • Day 3

    TREK CHOPTA – CHANDRASILLA TOP(4000m) – CHOPTA

  • After an early breakfast trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts from the sea level the highest in India. The trek is three kms upward. Enroute you will find lush green meadows and you can see the entire range of snow clapped Himalayas. Upon arrival at Tungnath Temple and visit the temple. After relax further one kms trek to Chandrasila peak, which has the magnificient views of the Great Himalayas and with the view of highest peak of India Nanda Devi (7848 mts.). Later trek back to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 4

    DRIVE FROM CHOPTA TO DEVPRAYAG AND RAFT DOWN TO BYAS GHAT

  • (6 Hrs Drive)

  • Now it’s a day to say a Good Bye to the Himalayas and to get ready to feel the splash of Whitewater Trip. After having breakfast we drive to Devprayag approx 146 kms. Once we reach to Devprayag , a safety brief about the paddling instruction and safety brief. Raft down till Byas Ghat. The rafting section is easy today with low grade of rapids. Camp Byas Ghat.

  • Day 5

    RAFT BYAS GHAT TO KAUDIYALA

  • An easy and relaxing day on the river with easy class II rapids. Opportunity to swim, body surf and get bit used how to navigate the raft and a practice of resuce tricks by flipping and reflipping raft on the flat section of the river. Raft till Kaudiyala. Camp Kaudiyala.

  • Day 6

    RAFT KAUDIYALA TO RISHIKESH

  • The day you was waiting for a Wet ‘n’ Wild rafting trip to Rishikesh negotiating some of the famous rapids like “Daniel Dip”, “The Wall”, “Three Blind Mice”, “Crossfire”, and the “Body Surfing rapid”. Lunch stop at Village Shivpuri, after lunch raft down a few more exciting rapids such as “Roller Coaster”, “Golf Course” and “Club House”. On arrival in Rishikesh. Trip concludes
